7A Civil has extremely competent joint sealers with experience in Construction and saw cut joints, Tilt panel joints and Alucabond joints, utilizing Poly Urethane, Silicone and other specialty sealants.

Often overlooked or worse totally neglected, Joint seals function is to minimize infiltration of surface water and incompressible material into the joint system (such as dirt, rocks, and other debris).

During periods of thermal expansion, the presence of these incompressible materials in the joint may lead to localized distress such as spalling or blowups. Sealants also reduce dowel bar corrosion potential by reducing entrance of water. Pavement engineers have recognized the need for concrete pavement joint sealants for many years.

Joints allow for needed movement of the materials but must remain water, air, heat, cold and vapour tight. Avoid making mistakes where your building is most vulnerable to leakage – the joint.
